Airtel Uganda Yesterday unveiled BET Viewer’s Choice Best New International Artist Award winner. Eddy Kenzo as the new Ugandan ambassador for the It’s Now campaign. This announcement comes only a few weeks after Airtel Africa announced a new Pan-African campaign, dubbed It’s Now, that seeks to nurture and grow talent in Africa through various consumer touch points such as sports, lifestyle and music while providing customers with access to connectivity and technological solutions that will enable them explore opportunities around them. According to Airtel Uganda’s Managing Director, Mr. Tom Gutjahr, “Eddy Kenzo is a real life example of someone who has worked his way from the streets to a respectable position not only in the Ugandan music industry, but the entire world.”
